I will stamp all over 'legitimate combatant' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua
The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be shown live on Netflix.
Briton Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the combatants confronted each other to promote next month's bout.
Ex two-time world title holder Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Mentality
"I'm going to damage his features and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of those words, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually known for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted ex Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at UK rival Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Paul's History
Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's biggest commercial attractions, regularly earning massive earnings.

The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in round four or five and claimed he would stop the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently in the works for 2026.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
